About Author:
Steve Simonsen lives in the U.S. Virgin Islands, on the island of St John for the past 20 years. Simonsen is recognized nationally as a nature, underwater, and travel photographer. His work has appeared in prestigious projects including Jean Michelle Cousteau’s “Cities Under The Sea”, and the Smithsonian’s traveling exhibit entitled, “Plant Ocean”.
 
His other books include “The United States Virgin Islands, A Photographic Portrait”.  Steve has traveled to many of the Caribbean Islands on assignment, including not only his own St John and the U S Virgin Islands but also Nevis, the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Tobago, Barbados, St Lucia, and Aruba to name but a few.
